My Favorite Colors for Blush Pink Dresser

You know I am a fan of pink...every shade of pink. I love the deepest tones to the softest equally. For nursery design, a blush pink dresser is a perfect choice.

Depending on the undertones, a blush pink dresser can easily transition from a baby’s room to up to 10 years old by swapping out a few accessories.

I have two favorites for blush colors that I reach for over and over, and they are always a super hit with the customers.

Ben Moore Salmon Berry – The Warm Blush

Benjamin Moore’s Salmonberry is beautiful, warm, and blush pink. According to Ben Moore’s website, it’s a “vibrant pink with infused with a shot of peach.”

That sounds about right, except I would call it a “soft pink.” The shot of peach is what keeps the color looking like a cliche nursery pink. That warmth is exactly what helps it transition from a baby’s room to a grown child effortlessly.

Here is a gorgeous nursery with a vintage curved dresser in Salmon Berry.

The color in the above pic looks a little lighter than in real life. Here is another one in a nursery, in a faux bamboo style. Love the pairing of blush pink with vibrant blues.

Ben Moore Elephant Pink – The Cooler Blush

Not everybody wants or loves warm colors because warm colors can look dingy in certain lighting. If you are looking for a fresh, icy blush pink, then Ben Moore Elephant Pink is a perfect cool blush color.

It has just enough blue undertones to cool off the pink without looking lilac. Here is a lovely nursery featuring an Elephant Pink vintage Henredon dresser.

The color is slightly distorted, but you can clearly see it’s a cooler pink. This would be my 2nd choice for a nursery. Honestly, you can’t go wrong either way.

I prefer colors with a stronger presence. They don’t necessarily have to be deep hues, but they have to be clear. I think both these colors meet that criteria.

Final Thoughts

Like I said earlier, the right shade of blush can easily transition from a nursery to a 10-year-old’s room. By that time, you will be ready for a new decor, and your little girl will have input in the choices.
